Marquel is very athletic.  She loves to play basketball, soccer, and practice her cheerleading moves.

On May 19, 2007 Marquel turned 10.   She requested a 30" stuffed doll dressed to look like Wendy from Peter Pan, and of course, I obliged her.

Marquel passed her 3rd grade TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills achievement tests).  YEAH!!  After missing too much school following Hurricane Katrina, she repeated 3rd grade this year and excelled in her new school and wonderful teacher and tutor.  We are very proud of Marquel!

Marquel is very sweet, she is very helpful around the house, and is even learning to cook with her Father.  Like her father, she is very secretive about her recipes, and if you ask what the ingredients are, she will say "oatmeal, miss meal, skip meal, wind pudding and walk-away sauce".

 Annie and Marquel will be attending summer camp at Camp Chrysalis near Kerrville, Texas this summer.  They are looking forward to it, although they are not quite sure what "camp" is!  Thank you to the "Angels" who sponsored this treat for the girls.
