Get Down Chip! Chip turns 2! ummmmm-good cake!	Chip Alonzo, AKA "Chip" (as in "Chip off the old block"!) Favorite Activities: Playing the piano, singing and riding bikes with his Dad. Alonzo was 8 weeks old when we met the Thornton family. As the months have passed, we have commented many times that he watched his brother and sisters so intently, as if absorbing every word and move they made. Now he is off and running and surprising us with all he knows and can do. He loves to ride in the baby seat on the back of his dad's bicycle. He looks very serious with his sunglasses, helmet and baby bottle! When one of our "Angel's" handed us some cash and told us to get the family something special, we knew just what it would be - a keyboard! Turk wanted to brush up on his skills, but Chip has claimed it as his. As he plays, he dances and sings. Chip is quick to give hugs, "high fives" and throw kisses to anyone. July 24, 2007 - Chip's 2nd Birthday What a story this little boy could tell about his first 2 years of life! How often does a 2 year old tell you what he wants for his birthday? Walking through Wal-Mart a few weeks ago, Chip spotted a little red bike. "Look Dad - bike!" "Mine!" As they walked on, Chip turned several times to stare at the bike. A big Thank You to our Angels who continue to give so generously to the Thornton family. You have kept him in clothes and diapers, and a few fun things too!
